Having trouble with this fee agreement E-SIGN on my mobile device!!!

Our document management software uses a company known as Hello Sign for e-signing documents, one of the things we have issues with is based on the fact Hello Sign is not always optimized for your particular phone or tablet. This being said, you can get it to work if you know what to do.

Once you have the Fee Agreement open, you will need to make sure you get all the proper information into the fields. This includes your address, your name on both the client and name line, you birthday needs to be in this format 12/10/1975, or at the least 12101975. The SSN line needs just the last four of your SSN.

Once you get the top fields filled out, some people have trouble scrolling down or the get stuck in the middle of the document, the best advice is to move the phone or tablet to landscape, sometimes you can get overly zoomed in and not see, if this happen change the phone back to portrait and them back to landscape.

Press on where you need to insert your signature, if you are zoomed way in, the box to sign might be open, but the document viewer could be zoomed in on it, if you can see that you can write then just scribble your name (Do not worry if it is legible, as we will have an audit trial about the signature). If you cannot see where to sign you can always try to change the phone orientation again. If you can see grey try un-pinching on the grey to zoom out on the document viewer.

Once the signature is entered you need to scroll back to the top, if it is stuck, change the orientation, (this is more like playing a brain teaser than signing, but it is what the million-dollar system requires…)

Once you get back to the top you will either see a green bar at the top saying “Required fields are done” or something saying “REQ FIELDS NOT DONE”. If it says “Required fields are done” then all the way over on the right is a blue box saying “Continue”, press on this box and another page will come up that says “Almost done.” Go all the way over to the right and press “I agree” once you press that we should have a properly signed fee agreement. You will know if it is properly signed by clicking the same link again and having the system tell you it has already been signed.

Tips and Tricks to get it the Fee-Agreement properly signed:

1. If you get stuck, change your phone back to landscape or portrait (Change Orientation), this will bring it back to centered at the correct amount of zoom.

2. If you pinch on the document you will zoom in, if you pinch outward on the white document you will zoom out of the document, but if you pinch on the grey area to the side you will zoom into the document viewer and signing program, if you un-pinch on the grey area you will zoom out of the document viewer.

3. If it has any un-filled fields it will not let you continue, check all your fields. If the top says “REQ* FIELDS LEFT” next to a blue number in a circle, you need to fill in the field that has a red asterisk in it.

4. If you get stuck try pushing on one of the fields, it will zoom you into that area.

5. If you click the “Click to Sign Area” and a white bar comes to the bottom, try un-pinching on that area to zoom out of that part.

6. If you want to start over you can x out or shut it down and use the link again to try again, if it says you already have the document signed, then it has been done properly. If you close it and it re-opens, then it should have the information you already entered, but has not been properly signed.

7. If you are not sure if you got through the “Agree to” portion properly, simply try the link again.

8. If everything fails, access it through your email and sign it on a larger tablet or computer!!!!!

9. If that doesn’t work let us know via text and we can work it out.

Hope this helps alleviate some frustration.
